Gill joined the Parish Council in May 1998 and was Chairman for 13 years until May 2022.
Gill says – I have lived in the village almost my whole life, I attended the village school and subsequently went on to Wollaston School. I love Brafield and always strive to make it a place where people want to live. I was on the Brafield Playing Field Charity and worked hard to get the play area opened in 2002, the Charity combined with the Brafield Church and Poors Land Trust and I served on this for some years, when the management of the Play Area transferred to the Parish Council a few years ago I resigned my position on the Trust.
I want to ensure Brafield is fit for future generations and we as a Parish Council are always looking at ways to improve the facilities for residents.
